Random Thoughts

I can’t see the future
I can only see what is here
What is now.
The past is a distant shadow
Cast over my perception
Of what is now.
What will become of me
Once the shadow recedes
And the memory of then
Is no longer looming?
The past is said to repeat itself
Therefore the future should be known.
There will be life and death
And everything in between.
When the future is here
And I am in the moment
Will I see what was
Or will I dream of what will?
The future is here
And now it is gone
The memory of what was
Will soon fade.
